War or anti-war. The question ...
This is a link to a short video about a right-wing ad campaign that tries to lobby members of Congress to support the war in Iraq. The counter-campaign asks us to petition CNN and Fox to stop showing the commercials. I sent off a message asking those two nets to stop taking blood money. Have a look and decide for yourself.

The power of the Mainstream Media is amazing, isn't it?
But what is even more amazing, is their ability to manipulate We the People into thinking exactly how they want us to think. For example, the issue of money. There is rarely a day that goes by that the Media does not mention how much money each candidate is bringing in for their campaign. If you stop and think about it, they really bring it up quite a bit - on the TV news, the newspapers, and certainly on their websites.
The media needs the voters to believe that in order to win a campaign a candidate needs LOTS (AND LOTS) OF MONEY. Why is this? Because the Media wants to maintain control of WHO IS ELECTED PRESIDENT. You see, our Media is owned by a small number of corporations. For example, MSNBC is owned by General Electric. GE donated 1.1 million dollars to George Dubya's campaign in 2000. In return, the corporations enjoy HUGE tax breaks, HUGE de-regulation to do carte blanche as they please, AND they are playing an ever increasing role in making Domestic, Foreign, and Global policy decisions --- commonly known as FASCISM. In order for the corporations to continue to get such a great deal, it is imperative that they get a "Coporate Owned" candidate into the White House. Hence, they throw millions and millions and millions of dollars at a couple of candidates, one of whom ultimately "wins" the election, but is now owned by the corporations, hook, line, and sinker. So, is there an antedote for this manipulation? ABSOLUTELY! First, you must STOP paying attention to what the media is force feeding you on the TV News, in print news, on their websites, and during talk shows and START doing research on ALL the candidates running for President. Thanks to the internet, you can find out alot about the candidates without it being a time consuming and tedious task. It's amazing what you can find out with a little Google here and a little Google there! Please keep in mind ---- a candidate DOES NOT win because they have X million dollars in their account, a candidate wins WHEN YOU VOTE FOR THEM. So do it NOW, take the PROACTIVE position.
It's your choice whom you wish to vote for President - Just don't let the Media decide for you!
If you are fed up with the status quo, you must think outside the box.
